AMR Fishing's guided fishing trips take place on the rich fishing waters of North Karelia: the upper Pielisjoki, Pielinen, Höytiänen, Pyhäselkä, Liperi and Savonselkä - as well as on the customer's own home waters, if the customer wishes.

The Tracker WT175 fishing boat with 115 horsepower Mercury outboard engine and modern Lowrance electronics is suitable for small groups. For larger groups, we partner with partners to operate multiple boats.

Frequently asked questions about fishing trips

  • Fishing trips are suitable for people of all ages who are interested in fishing, regardless of previous fishing experience.

    On an AMR Fishing boat, the group size can be one, two or three people in addition to the guide.

    For larger groups, the fishing trip is organised with a partner and several boats.

    A private guided fishing trip can be booked by an individual, a company or other organisation, e.g. an association.

  • A successful fishing day needs adequate clothing according to weather, a hat and sunglasses.

    You will also need a state fishing management fee.

    Also bring enough to drink and a snack, unless you order Anssi's Cooking or Tailored Meal.

    Please also remember to take any personal medication or supplies onboard, and inform the guide in advance at the time of booking.

  • You don't need any previous fishing experience to join my fishing trips.

  • Of course! You can also bring your own fishing gear and life vests.

    The guide provides customers with quality equipment for different situations to ensure a successful fishing experience.

  • You can choose between Anssi`s Cooking or Tailored Meal (for extra cost) or you can choose to bring your Own Snack onboard.

  • Fishing trips uphold the principles of sustainable fishing: we follow the recommended sizes and release valuable specimens intact so that future generations can enjoy the fish-rich waters of North Karelia.

  • The price includes:

    • liability insurance

    • VAT 25,5%

    For an additional fee, you may also book Anssi's Cooking or a Tailored Meal according to your wishes.

    Package prices for groups of 1-3 people.

    Additional hour 95 € / boat.

    Ask for a separate quote for a larger group.
