We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and national data protection legislation. With this privacy statement, we want to ensure that visitors to our website, visitors who may have sent a message through our website and our customers are aware of how we process their personal data and the legal basis for the processing of personal data.

2. Data subjects, legal basis and purpose of processing personal data

We collect personal data in our personal data register for different categories of personal data:

a) those who have left their contact details on the website,

b) those who have contacted us by e-mail or telephone,

c) and our customers,

d) and for our partners.

Visitors to our website can use the contact form to leave their own contact details if they wish us to contact them, for example about our services. The contact information is primarily used to contact you, but it may also be used for marketing communications, which the person who submitted the contact information always has the right to opt-out of.

If the person requesting the contact becomes our customer, we will store their personal data (name, company name, email address, phone number) in our customer register for the purpose described below.

Personal data may be used for billing, managing the customer relationship between AMR-Fishing and the customer, customer service, improving service offerings, analysis, service provision and development.

Communications between the customer and customer service, such as emails and SMS messages, can be stored.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the legislation in force, which means that:

- we will not process any personal data that is not necessary for the purposes mentioned above;

- minimise the amount of data we process and delete unnecessary data, unless there is a legitimate reason to keep it;

- the personal data we hold about you can always be checked, edited and deleted at your request;

- we will not disclose personal data to third parties without a proper reason (for example, for billing and accounting purposes);

- we use technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of personal data, including protection against unauthorised and unlawful processing.

For our customers and potential new customers who have requested to be contacted, we always collect personal data from the customer. The legal basis for processing personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation is the legitimate interest of the controller (customer relationship). In addition, the processing of personal data may be based on separate consent.

You have the right at any time to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data or to request the review, amendment or deletion of your personal data.

4. Regular sources of information

The information stored in the register is obtained from the customer through, for example, messages sent via our website, e-mail, telephone, customer meetings or other situations where the customer provides his/her information. In addition, information may be obtained in connection with customer service or during the use of the services provided.

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil a customer relationship, an assignment or other rights or obligations set out in the register description, or to comply with obligations under, for example, accounting legislation.

Obsolete and redundant data will be regularly deleted, unless otherwise required by law or regulation. 

 

6. Regular disclosures and transfers of data outside the EU or EEA

As a general rule, your personal data will be processed by our employees in the course of their work. Our staff are bound by a confidentiality agreement to keep all the information they receive confidential. We may disclose some necessary information to third parties, for example, to ensure the provision of services where a fishing trip is carried out by a partner of the controller in addition to the controller.

Some of the services we use operate outside the territory of the Member States of the European Union or the European Economic Area. We transfer data in accordance with the requirements of data protection legislation and we share data with these services in accordance with the principles of data minimisation and risk reduction.

 

7. Protection of the register

We exercise due care in the processing of the register and the data processed by our information systems are adequately protected. Where the data is stored on Internet servers, the physical and digital security of the hardware is adequately ensured.

The data in the electronically processed register is protected against unauthorised access by firewalls, personal usernames and passwords and generally accepted technical means. Access to the data in the register is restricted to those whose duties require access to the data in the register. All persons accessing personal data in the register are bound by the obligation of professional secrecy. No physical copies of the register shall be made. The controller will immediately inform all parties concerned and the data protection authority of any data breach in accordance with the GDPR.

 

8. Customer rights in relation to the processing of personal data

The customer and the website visitor who has left his/her contact details have the right to check what information about him/her is stored in our personal data register. They also have the right to know why their data is being processed, to whom it has been disclosed and for how long it will be stored.

The person also has the right to obtain the rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of data concerning him or her.
